Welcome to rink and ribbons. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from us. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. Who We Are

rink and ribbons designs and sells custom apparel through this Site, built on WordPress and WooCommerce. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean rink and ribbons.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order with us. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Products and Custom Apparel

Many of our products are custom-made to your specifications (size, color, design, personalization, etc.). It is your responsibility to review your order details, including sizing and design elements, carefully before submitting your order, as custom items may not be eligible for the same return terms as non-custom items. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse an order, or discontinue a product at our discretion.

4. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you’re making an offer to purchase a product, which we may accept or decline.
Prices are listed in [USD] and are subject to change without notice, though changes won’t affect orders already placed.
Payment is processed through the payment methods available at checkout via WooCommerce. You represent that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues. If we cancel an order, we’ll refund any payment already made.

5. Shipping

Shipping timeframes, methods, and costs are provided at checkout and may vary depending on your location and whether an item is custom-made. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or other circumstances outside our control. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.

6. Returns, Exchanges, and Order Issues

All returns, exchanges, damaged/defective item claims, and other order-specific stipulations are governed by our Shop Policies page. Please review that page before placing an order, especially for custom apparel.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including logos, product designs, photographs, graphics, and text — is owned by rink and ribbons or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

If you submit a custom design request (artwork, text, logos, or images) for us to use on your apparel, you represent that you own the rights to that content or have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe on any third party’s rights. You grant us permission to reproduce that content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

8. User Conduct

When using the Site, you agree not to:

Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including through our contact form or checkout)
Attempt to interfere with the security or functionality of the Site
Upload or submit content (including design requests) that is illegal, infringing, obscene, or violates the rights of others

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms.

9. Contact Form Use

Our contact form is intended for genuine inquiries about our products, orders, or business. Please don’t use it to submit spam, unsolicited advertising, or unlawful content.

Our total liability for any claim relating to your order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold rink and ribbons harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or content you submit to us (including custom design requests).

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the courts located in Wisconsin.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
